1st of January; discover that the small footbridge by Nerdvana has a smooth sheet of ice on it - after getting up the bridge and across the flat portion. Foolishly apply front brakes. Wham.
3rd of January; discover small patch of ice on the road outside the flat. Foolishly apply front brakes. Wham. Rather unpleasant bruises on right thigh and elbow for my pains.
Luckily, the frost has passed.
