The world's strangest cycling injury

Today I tipped over my track pump - which has a wide metal bore about 2' long, so it's not light - and the pressure gauge landed with deadly accuracy on one toe.

Ouch.

[livejournal.com profile] arnhem and NHS Direct suggest it's not broken but it still hurts like the very devil. Off to the doctor tomorrow!

*Sympathy* that it hurts

Cycling is very dangerous to the health you know. Why don't you drive for a bit?

Or get a garage and keep all the cycling junk in there...

Today it's much less painful, though.

It could have been worse... you could have been wearing wicker shoes!

Get well soon!

Ouch. But since I don't have any wicker shoes I should be OK.

Even Tuesday morning it was much better, although I still walk a bit funny, so I think it'll all be fine.
