Moving by oneself is always a deathmarch, I think, unless you're paying people to pack things for you. I'd assume you didn't.

And it's the third most stressful life event the usual has to offer, it seems.

Bah. It's kind of inevitable. I moved house 3 times last year and each time was utter misery, even though one house move was only 5 mins down the road! Doing it at New Year didn't help, tho, esp when I was a) ill, b) had just been dumped and c) had my mum worrying at me about it.

Oddly enough, I can appreciate this having moved from Tokyo to Kumamoto (about the length of England) which was bad enough but strangely not expensive. Not having a place to move into didn't help, mind. Thank god for kind countryside folk.

But hope the worst is over with. See you Thursday?
