(no subject)

About a month ago [livejournal.com profile] naath and I tried a 200km Audax, with yours truly expiring around km 170 - a heroic failure.

So I/we resolved to try something a bit shorter first. How did today's 115 go? It went all the way to "an 0630 start needs a backup alarm clock" - I can infer I switched off the alarm, but no conscious memory of it.

Oh, well. Dismal failure isn't quite as spectacular but it doesn't take as long either...

You suck. But, y'know, 0630 is not exactly nice.

What I want to know is *why* people insist on starting short rides so early in the morning?

Actually, it was an 0930 start; it just was a way off with the useful trains not stopping at Woking.
