I never properly got into that, actually! It's something from which I loved the music, but never managed to... you know, identify with to precisely the same extent. I should give it another go.

Well, when I was first a fanboy, the old Anime Projects _BGC_ VHS was almost the only thing released in the UK that wasn't dubbed tentacles-and-violence from Mangle Video. Really liking _BGC_, I suspect, is as much a marker of a British fan of a certain vintage as owning two multistandard VCRs.

I second that notion about Anime Projects. I've still got the original BGC VHS tapes that bankrupted me!
