Google's getting too clever
If you type "fpri," into a Google search box, it knows you meant "forum". Clever chaps!
(Move your right hand one key right and look at the keyboard).

There was a time when I could read that fluently, and tell which hand the typer had shifted and which way. Misspent youth on IRC...

Hmmm, I tried "fpri," and got a lot about the Foreign Policy Research Institute. But something like "java fpri," did indeed give hits to java forums.

Hm. Does google do the translation internally, or is it that sufficiently many people have mistyped it can heuristically connect them? I dont' know what's more impressive.
