Beyond schadenfreude, I suspect that the schism will mean Cameron trying to make an effort to be nice to the headbangers, so probably not great future-wise :-/

Depends if it means we can get rid of the sods, if some less bigotted Tories jump ship, if some more bigotted Tories go to UKIP...

Now the dream scenario would be for enough less-bigotted Tories to jump ship, thus creating a condition where we can have a different coalition. Of course I may be being completely ridiculous here, or perhaps a straightforward collapse and early election may be a better result... it was an idea.
