Beer

I submitted to the lure of the 75cl bottle of Hen. But, hell, it's just Hen, and you all know about it anyway.

Remember to celebrate our total lack of responsibility for the USA's antics today - it is the 4th of July.

I have a doctor's appointment at 0835 - this is why Captain Responsible is awake at this hour.

I would like to see more charity sponsorship events in this country which don't revolve around WACKY ZAAAAANY accoutrements. Noses. Trousers. Guf. Faw.

(That said, I'd also like to see them not revolve around athleticfoo, so I guess I'm a bit screwed.)

I dunno, I quite like the excuse to dress up and play silly buggers (but I think I lost some of the pieces, and the bit that you spin fell off).

That said, I will not be wearing 'wrong trousers' today, as I have to travel to Monmouth for a family wedding (not my family, I hasten to add, I'm not Welsh. Well, not much.)

In my case the only difference between my various pair of black jeans is that some of them have more holes in than is strictly desireable. :-(
