My handlebars snapped last night

This was all rather exciting; I was turning right on a roundabout, when suddenly I found my left hand flailing wildly and the bike became very unstable (since it's hard to judge the position of the wheel when your hands are further apart than they ought to be); luckily, I managed to avoid falling off.

This is getting absurd; I've only got about half the original bicycle left.

Ow ow! I hope you didn't injure you.

Last year I was heading down a horrible hill and fell at the bottom, giving myself a very bad case of road rash and nearly hitting a concrete wall. My bike hasn't been the same since :P

Although I wobbled like mad, I managed to regain control, so was unhurt - but thanks for asking...

More irritating is that the bike shop near work doesn't sell 1in diameter handlebars, just 26mm, so I'll have to trot off to Ashford at the weekend for a new set of bars.
