damerell at 10:21am on 07/12/2001This was all rather exciting; I was turning right on a roundabout, when suddenly I found my left hand flailing wildly and the bike became very unstable (since it's hard to judge the position of the wheel when your hands are further apart than they ought to be); luckily, I managed to avoid falling off.

Last year I was heading down a horrible hill and fell at the bottom, giving myself a very bad case of road rash and nearly hitting a concrete wall. My bike hasn't been the same since :P

More irritating is that the bike shop near work doesn't sell 1in diameter handlebars, just 26mm, so I'll have to trot off to Ashford at the weekend for a new set of bars.
