_Speed of Dark_ has a cover designed to make us think it's a crappy cyberpunk novel - even to the extent of not having capitals on the front. This put me off buying it for some months, but finally I submitted; and imagine my delight upon reading it to find it's nothing of the kind, and really rather good.
So, publishers, why disguise good books as Gibson imitators?
