Oh, my, you too couldn't keep away from it? After the review of the review I read, I did actually write a review of the review saying "Don't read it or if you do, don't blame me". I did like teh review of the TimeCube! game on the same site, though.
They've gone through fixing all the little gripes from the first review, mostly covering over with faux scholarship. The "Maim Master" is now the "Aedile", for instance; there's a little footnote saying how their extensive research found no evidence of VD in the Middle Ages (!); it's a fantasy Europe devoid of outside influences, which is why all the characters are Caucasian, etc.
I've dropped the review guy a line to see if he has a copy of the older revision still.
