I may not have time to write this tomorrow, so; tomorrow I am off to Land's End with a tandem, and with any luck 2 weeks later I will be at John O'Groats. Try not to do anything interesting while I am gone. Most of you have my cellphone number, but note that at present it's buggered and I can only receive and send text messages.

Wow! Have a jolly good time, with plenty of adventures and lashings of ginger beer. And perhaps next time you will find someone willing to share the tandem with you, that way it won't be such hard work ;o)

Sadly, you're probably all intrigued over nothing. He's sharing the tandem with my housemate. I like my housemate, but by god I wouldn't want to share a bike with him for two weeks.

If you let me know when you're going to be passing through central scotland I'll try and rendevouz with you somewhere.

Well, we pass Gretna on Saturday the 11th, stopping at Annan; then Cumnock on the 12th, Ardlui on the 13th, Spean Brdge on the 14th; so the 13th is the day we pass West of Glasgow over one of the bridges. That might be a good day...

That's the day we climb Glen Coe, so I expect the evening's pint will be selected primarily on the basis of being somewhere we can crawl to from the B&B.
