I am now an End to Ender. I'll post a link to the ride report here, but the very brief summary is 2 weeks, B&Bs, tandem, no sag wagon, South to North, various exciting mechanical incidents.

My personal not-favourite moment was getting a front flat just after taking the drum brake off near the bottom of a 13% grade.

Congratulations to you both! We should go for pints, and soon.

Well, you know where the sleazy bar is... I am in London at other times, though.

Well done you :) And do tell your tales of mechanical woe...

Congrats!

I am indeed thinking about coming along next time. Need a bike again first.

We could steal the tandem off him and do it together? I doubt we'd beat their time though.

It wouldn't fit you two at all.

Too big?

It might fit you, actually, but your proposed stoker is, I fear, simply too short to fit on the bike. It's in the older level top tube style (tandems acquired sloping top tubes long before singles) which worked fine for a team with a slightly taller stoker but doesn't work where you do have a team of considerably different heights.

We have about 100 - I have to take the disposicams to get them developed.

You are hereby definitely insane. Well done.

(I've a friend who circumnavigated Australia by recumbent tricycle ... your next quest?)

I would like a recumbent trike, actually, but we'd need a better place to keep it in.

Circumnavigating Australia, though... a couple of people die on the organised ride each time. _That_ is in another league to the E2E or even the Paris-Brest-Paris.

Well done, that man. I feel terribly unhealthy just reading that ;)
