It struck me recently that while, as we know, the Internet is for porn, these days the Internet is mostly for cat pictures with funny captions. There is an obvious consequence of this which had not, I feel, been fully explored.

I can has...

they are

First one's CC Attribution Share-Alike 2.5 (Wikimedia Commons user StalkerAT); last one's GFDL (and God knows what that implies for a picture) from Wikimedia Commons user Pleple2000; middle two started public domain and are CC Attribution Share-Alike if anyone cares...

ETA: thanks to [livejournal.com profile] raxvulpine, who accidentally gave me the idea.

GFDL porn images could specify the naughty bits as Invariant Sections to prevent people from applying pixelisation to them :-)

In the grim future of the Internet, there is only imaginary animal porn!

Imaginary animal porn was created by man. It evolved. It rebelled. There are many copies.

And it has a plan.

I could use more horrified responses. I'd do a corncob-giantrobot-clownshoe sequence except Weds and I did it already...

That was only mildly offensive. I expect more imagination. :-)

*ponders*

You...are...cute, fluffy, and harmless. You could curl up in a basketful of puppies without lowering the overall cute-fluffiness factor of the contents.

In fact, it would go *up* slightly.

...And thinking about it, I *actually mean* that bit.

What about kittens?

*laughs*

I consider puppies superior to kittens. Now THAT my be offensive to some of you.
