So, there was the Dunwich Dynamo, the overnight not-quite-200km ride from London to the lost city of Dunwich on the East Anglian coast.
I don't really have a ride report, save that I have remembered every reason that, the last time I rode the Brompton over 150km, I swore never to do it again without making a few changes to the setup. But here I am at the coast at Dunwich about midday:

If you have the low flat S-Type bars you can't use the Touring Pannier and, I think, some of the other large front luggage.
I don't have the rear rack because anything on it interferes with the fold. However I use a Brooks saddle with bag loops; a traditional saddlebag dangling from them doesn't interfere with the fold and the largest ones are satisfyingly huge. What it does do is gently tickle the backs of your legs every now and then to remind you it's there, so I prefer the front luggage if I've only got enough kit for one bag.
