Roguelike map showing different light levels, mazelike dungeon

I haven't done any work on Montresor for a while, but I abandoned my overly clever LOS rewrite, fixed my outstanding LOS bug, and loaded [personal profile] ceb's starter map in.

Next:
Proper selection of user commands?
Basic sound tracking?
Proper display of messages?
Very stub creature AI to make gribbleys chase you?
