It's been a while since I read the Hounds of the Morrigan - I was younger then - but I remember it being good, not such a rambling mythic travelogue. Sigh.

And I finally actually read the Silmarillion. Morgoth's life would have been a lot less easy if the good guys weren't so consistently complete and utter numpties.

I remember Morrigan being amazing - but yeah, I was twelve when I read that book. Maybe should not reread...
