I thought the scene was more gruesome in the series than in the book.

And I've known about the beer for a while.

I dunno. It's obviously more graphic in the TV show, what with the, well, video - and the stabbing of Robb's wife. (FTAOD, I'm only trying to avoid spoilers for stuff _after_ season 3). Conversely, the book has the advantage of Cat as viewpoint character for events she personally finds rather upsetting...
